Rooms

Tucked Away was built as luxury self-catering accommodation for 2 people, it is ideal for couples, but there is additional space in the form of a comfortable double sofa bed.

(suitable for children depending on age as sofa bed is situated in the rear of the living room with an open staircase.)

Bedroom

The bedroom at Tucked Away is a large, warm, bright and charming room on the first floor with views of the surrounding crofts from the side window. The room is furnished in solid oak, painted in natural earthy colours and has a king size bed. There are gorgeous locally sourced sheepskin rugs on either side of the bed, the bed linen is pure Egyptian cotton and the quilts and pillows are hypo-allergenic of the highest quality – perfect to sink in to after a day exploring the island.

Bathroom

Tucked Away has a large and airy bathroom with a walk in shower, as well as a large double ended bath for those wishing to lie back and relax after a day out walking, climbing or sightseeing. There is also a spacious toilet on the ground floor.

Living Area

The living area boasts one of the most breathtaking views of the Cuillins Skye has to offer through floor to ceiling windows – a haven of peace and tranquility.

The area is a large open plan space equipped with two large comfortable leather sofas, a flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD player, a BOSE iPod docking station, a comfortable double sofa bed, and a bookcase full of information about the island. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind in comfort and peace.

Kitchen & Dining Area

Downstairs the open plan kitchen and dining area spans the full length of the house. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a self catering trip including fully integrated kitchen appliances (fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, double oven/hob, microwave, etc) There is a full selection of crockery and utensils.

There is a large oak dining table at the front of the house with four high back leather chairs for you to dine in style. If cooking is not your thing, there are plenty of wonderful restaurants to visit on the island including the world-renowned ‘Three Chimneys’ & Edinbane Inn restaurants. Outside

Tucked Away has a large safe area to park cars or other vehicles. We also have a large garage which we are happy for you to use for storing camping/walking gear, bicycles etc. An outdoor washing line is also provided.
