Situated in Achachork on the outskirts of Portree, the capital of Skye, our luxury self-catering accommodation is the perfect place from which to explore our breathtaking island. The location is central enough to be close to handy local amenities in Portree, but far enough to experience the peaceful islander lifestyle. Tucked Away is ideal self-catering accommodation for couples and a wonderful honeymoon location on the Isle of Skye.

On the first floor Tucked Away has one large bedroom with en suite bathroom and a bright open plan living area, featuring floor to ceiling windows which provide a stunning view of the enchanting Cuillin mountains. There is also a reading sofa to the rear of the living room area. Downstairs an open plan kitchen and dining area offer a spacious and relaxing dining experience. There is also a downstairs toilet.

You will find books, maps and local tourist information provided giving you information about Portree and Skye, and your hosts Margaret and Iain are more than happy to help with any questions you have.

Tucked Away was designed with your comfort in mind. Throughout the house there are a mixture of luxurious textiles and materials from solid oak  flooring & furnishings to Egyptian cotton bed linen making it a comfortable home from home.

Iain & Margaret built Tucked Away as a self build. Tucked Away lies adjacent to and behind their own home.
